The doctors, physical therapists, and athletic trainers at Integrated Physical Medicine have agreed to continue partnership with the NLYFA. All NLYFA athletes (football and cheerleading) and their families will continue to have immediate access to first-rate injury care. If an injury is suspected, NLYFA athletes and/or family members will be seen WITHIN 24 HOURS by an IPM physician at any clinic location.* If necessary, same day digital x-rays are available at any clinic location.* If an IPM physician feels your athlete should be seen by a specialist, for example orthopedic surgeon, he/she will be referred at time of consultation (or immediately to an ER if warranted). Diagnosis and treatment recommendation will be reviewed face-to-face with parents and athletes. In-house IPM doctor of physical therapy will be available if rehabilitation is needed. There is NO CHARGE for phone consultations, injury assessments and evaluations, and digital x-rays (if they need to be taken) at IPM for NLYFA athletes and their families.
