PALANGKA RAYA

ABSTRACT

The researh aimed to measure the significant effect of Projrct Based Learning using

Cartoon Story Maker to increase students’ writing recount text score at tenth graders of MAN

Katingan Hilir.

The study included in quantitative research with Quasy Experimental Design.The

researcher designed the lesson plan, conducted the treatment and observed the students’

score by pretest and posttest. The population of study was the tenth graders at MAN

Katingan Hilir which consisted of two classes. The researcher took the sample of two classes

are X- B as control group and X-A as experimental group . The sample were determined

using censuss sampling technique.

After getting the data were from pretest and posttest, the researcher analyzed the

data using SPSS 21. Program to test the hypothesis stated based on the result of

analysis, it was found that the value of ttest = 3.53 with ttable=2.00 at 5% level of significance.

It showed that the ttest was higher than the ttable. The result of testing hypothesis determined

that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) stating that there was significant effect of Project

Based Learning using Cartoon Story Maker in writing recount text at tenth graders of MAN

Katingan Hilir was accepted and the Null Hypothesis (Ho) stating that there was no

significant effect of Project Based Learning using Cartoon Story Maker in writing recount

text at tenth graders of MAN Katingan Hilir was rejected. It meant that there was significant

effect of Project Based Learning using Cartoon Story Maker in writing recount text at tenth

graders of MAN Katingan Hilir. This research recommended in writing recount text for the

students, teachers, and also for the next researchers.

PENGARUH PROJECT BASED LEARNING MENGGUNAKAN CARTOON STORY

MAKER DALAM MENULIS TEKS SISWA KELAS SEPULUH MAN KATINGAN

HILIR

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur apakah ada pengaruh yang berarti

dalam menggunakan aplikasi Cartoon Story Maker dalam menulis teks recount siswa kelas

sepuluh MAN Katingan Hilir.

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Kuasi Eksperimental.

Penulis menyusun rencana pembelajaran, memberikan perlakuan dan mengobservasi skor

siswa dengan Pra-uji dan Pasca-uji. Populasi dari studi ini adalah murid kelas sepuluh

(X) MAN Katingan Hilir yang tediri dari 2 kelas. Penulis menggunakan semua kelas untuk

dijadikan sampel yaitu X-B sebagai kelas kontrol dan X-A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Sampel

tersebut ditentukan dengan tekni Kensus Sampel.

Setelah mendapatkan data dari Pra-uji dan Pasca-uji, penulis menganalisis data

tersebut menggunakan rumus ttest untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa nilai dari ttes= 3.53 dan ttabel= 2.00 pada taraf

signifikansi 5%. Hasil dari penelitian ini menerapkan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain

eksperimental. Penulis menyusun Rencana data analisis menunjukkan bahwa

tobserved=2.210 lebih tinggi dari ttable=2.00. Hasil dari Pengujian Hipotesis menentukan

bahwa Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) yang menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan oleh

Cartoon Story Maker dalam dalam pembelajaran teks recount terhadap keahlian tulisan siswa

kelas sepuluh MAN Katingan Hilir telah diterima dan Hipotesis Nihil yang menyatakan

bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan oleh Cartoon Story Maker dalam dalam

pembelajaran teks recount terhadap keahlian tulisan siswa kelas sepuluh MAN Katingan Hilir

telah ditolak. Ini artinya bahwa bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan oleh Cartoon Story

Maker dalam pembelajaran teks recount terhadap keahlian tulisan siswa kelas sepuluh MAN

Katingan Hilir. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk siswa-siswa, guru-guru, dan juga

untuk peneliti selanjutnya.
