What is The Escape Hunt Experience?

Who are we and what do we do? What games do we offer?

• Escape Hunt is a real life first person

interactive escape game

• In the game, players in teams of 2-6 are

“locked” inside a room and must explore their

surroundings, solve riddles and clues in order

to solve the crime and escape

• The game requires players to be observant

and to use their critical thinking skills in order to

solve the challenges and riddles

• There is no strenuous physical activity involved

• Escape Hunt is exciting, addictive, challenging,

educational and above all, fun

• All games can be solved but are challenging,

requiring good teamwork, observation, problem

solving and communication skills

• We have 6 game rooms offering 3 different

adventures (two identical rooms for each

adventure) right in the heart of Sydney's city

centre (Level 4, 393 George Street Sydney,

near the Apple store and Pitt Street Mall)

• Our adventures change regularly and currently

comprise:

– Robbery in the Cottage

– Extortion in the Dockyard

– Murder in the Pub (Advanced Room)

• Because of the unique combination of skills

required to solve the games, Escape Hunt is

What does The Escape Hunt Experience offer corporate groups?

• At Escape Hunt, we aim to give you a fully customised experience that meets your unique needs

• Our corporate events give your group exclusive access to our premises – if you have less than the

required number of people then you can simply book our rooms via our online booking system

• We have outlined below and on the following pages our most popular options but we can tailor our

events to meet any specific requirements you might have and for larger groups

1. Game Only Package

• Your group can choose between our 3 different adventures:

– Robbery in the Cottage

– Extortion in the Dockyard

– Murder in the Pub (Advanced Room)

• Depending on group size, we will allocate you into teams of

4 to 6

• Your teams can play head to head against one another (i.e.

2 teams competing against each other on the same

adventure) to see who comes out first or play separate

adventures

• Please allow a total of 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole

experience which follows the following format:

– Pre-game briefing (15 mins)

– Try to escape our rooms (60 mins)

– Relax and enjoy a hot beverage (15 mins)

• You will also have the opportunity to dress up in our period

outfits and props and take photos at the end of your game

2. Game + Team Building Package

• This package offers a combination of escape game play

followed by a group team building activity

• This can be adapted for various group sizes and follows the

following format for a typical 3 hour event:

– Pre-game briefing (15 mins)

– Play our world famous escape games in the rooms in

groups of 2 to 6 players per room (60 mins)

– Break to relax and have tea and biscuits (30 mins)

– Group exercises in our team building area. These can

be ice breakers, group puzzles, team building – see

following page (60 mins)

– De-brief and close (15 mins)

• You will also have the opportunity to dress up in our period

outfits and props and take photos at the end of your

activities

• The idea is learning through play. We use game-play to

challenge people individually and in group settings. We do

all of this for teamwork, leadership, personal motivation,

team structure, empowerment and ongoing improvement

2. Game + Team Building Package – Example team building activities (we can work

with you on other options as needed)

1 Crazy Loops

• Participants are organised into teams of 2 to play “crazy loops”

• These are wooden "handcuffs" connected by ropes. Each person puts on their

handcuffs with the rope crossing such as they are now connected together. The

object is to escape without taking off the handcuffs

• It makes for a pretty terrific party. We can expect lots of laughter, head scratching

teamwork and communication to get through it

2 3 truths and a

lie

• Participants are organised into teams of 4 – 6

• Each participant has to come up with 3 truths and 1 lie about themselves

• Each participant presents their truths and lie and the teams must determine which

one is the lie

• The winning team is the one who scores the most points by correctly guessing the

lies

3 Puzzles

• Participants are organised into teams

• Team members work together to solve a range of puzzles in the shortest amount of

time

• The winning team is the one who solves the puzzles in the shortest amount of time

4 Teamwork

Debrief

• Using the same teams from the escape room activity, each team explores how they

behaved and what they learnt along key leadership and teamwork competencies e.g.

strategy, communication & leadership, problem solving, stress management etc.

• Teams come up with key learnings to take back to the workplace and share these

amongst the wider group 6

3. Games Maximiser Package

• Your group gets to play 2 different adventures one after the

other

• This lets your teams compete multiple times against one

another or allows you to change teams for the second

round

• We can keep track of team times and determine who the

overall winning team was based on total time to escape

both rooms

• Please allow a total of 3 hours for the whole experience:

– Pre-game briefing (15 mins)

– 1st attempt to try and escape from our rooms (60

mins)

– Short break (15 mins)

– 2nd attempt to escape the rooms (60 mins)

– Relax and enjoy a hot beverage (15 mins)

• You will also have the opportunity to dress up in our period

outfits and props and take photos at the end of your games

Key Terms and Conditions

• Full pre-payment is required prior to your event for the estimated number of participants –

payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer or PayPal

• There is a minimum amount of 12 participants for our corporate packages

• You will only be charged for actual participants who participate on the day (min 12 participants)

– If less people turn up on the day we will refund you the difference

– If more people turn up on the day we will send you an additional invoice

• Events may be rescheduled, if you need to reschedule your event, please give us at least 3

days notice. A $200 reschedule fee will be charged if you give us less than 3 days notice.

• Cancellation Policy:

1. Events are fully refundable with 7 days notice

2. Events cancelled with less than 7 days notice will attract the minimum 12 person charge.

• If you have any special requests (e.g. projector screen for a presentation), please let us know in

advance so we can accommodate you

• We are not a licensed venue
