What an angst filled trip Iwent through whilereading this book!
It started up slow, but onceagain, Haruki
Murakami delivered anexcellent story.

Poem of the WeekBreaking from the Mold
There once was a mold-
Upon which she was castPredestined and setcast. But defiant and bold-
The mold she brokeTo be free of her yoke.
And there she stoodWild and free-
Or determined to be!On the edge, misunderstood
In line with uncertaintyFeet firm in mutiny
Be this, be that!Left, right calls came
Disorienting, attempting to tame.Do this, do that!
Instructions and expectationsSources of her aggressions.
.Who she is, she'll beShe'll personally spun-
When all's said and done.Your presumption on sheIrrelevant it standsFor she defies your demands

Mother To Son
By Langston HughesWell, son, I’ll tell you:
Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair. Its had tacks in it,
And splinters,And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor—Bare.
But all the timeI’se been aclimbin’ on,And reachin’ landin’s,And turnin’ corners,
And sometimes goin’ in the darkWhere there ain’t been no light.
So boy, don’t you turn back.Don’t you set down on the steps
’Cause you finds it’s kinder hard.Don’t you fall now—
For I’se still goin’, honey,I’se still climbin’,
And life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.www.poetryfoundation.org

Give TV Some Love
Barry: How many more drones do youhave left?Cisco: Two. And they've got lasers.Caitlin&Wells: No.
Is it just me, or does The Flash keep getting betterand better?
11 THE EVERMORE
♦The story grows moreintriguing with every aired
episode,
♦The characters are all wellrounded and richly developed.
Even Sisco, a character I oncefound annoying, has grown on
me.
Remember this anyone?
Episode 10 lived up to its hype, though I found it a littlecheasy that the 'Scoffield brothers' played the bad guys
together.
Wentworth Miller is cute, but I don't think him a particularlyconvincing actor!
