In addition to this, a large open plazahas been created to the east of Al-Mas’a

(between As-Safa and Al-Marwah )whichcan accommodate 65,000 worshippers.

Two new power stations provide

1 -the electricity for the additional lighting,

2 -loudspeakers,

3 -TV studios ,

4 -telephones

5 -and clocks.

Central air-conditioning has been provided for the basement .

The ground floor and first floor are ventilatedby the natural flow of air from windows and

doors, aided by ceiling fans.
