We start off our quilting classes with our Stack and Whack expert, Maria Sendzik, on Saturday, January 13th. Maria will be sharing her easy-to-follow tips and techniques for the Magical Fans throw. This lovely quilt truly is magical as no two fans will be alike; each one will be unique. If you’ve taken any of

Maria’s classes with us before you know how she calms any fears you may have about the Stack-and-Whack technique, and if

you haven’t, now is a perfect time to start. The class is $35 plus fabric and supplies and runs from 11:00-3:00. The quilt size is 48x65 inches, a perfect size for curling up under on those cold snowy days of winter. Bring a lunch but save some room for one of Maria’s famously yummy desserts! for this fun class. Our regular weekday classes with our other wonderful in-structor, Minabess, will continue on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Classes run from 10-12 each day and 7-9 pm Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We hope to see you for these classes, too. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

VISIT YOUR LOCAL QUILT SHOP DAY is JANUARY 27. We’ll be cele-brating the spe-cial day with

some fun activities. We always appreciate your patronage. There’s a leprechaun afoot! NATIONAL QUILTING DAY is MARCH 17! And it’s gone global to cele-brate our favorite hobby throughout the world. Plan to join us for a day of celebra-

tion for both events. As a special treat green fabrics will be 30% off. All other fabrics and supplies will be 20% off. Come for the sale and some special refreshments, too!
