Whether that is ANZAC Day, The Cross Country, School Musical, MegaChapel or the last day of the year! For me it is the Fete. For over 25 years now I have been involved with and attended the Mueller College Fete. In the beginning this was a humble affair where the number of parent helpers came close to outnumbering the students who attended. Over the years it has grown into a spectacular event, maintaining at its core a desire to bring the Community together for a day of fun, laughter, good food and fellowship. We’ve experienced many challenges along the way, from dust storms, raging bush fires on the school boundary and stormy days where everyone went home soaked. Then there have been picture perfect blue skies that created a magnificent backdrop for the rides and fireworks. Part of the fun and atmosphere is never being sure of what the day will hold and looking forward to the surprises. An event like this doesn’t magically fall into place. For months there have been a team of people working behind the scenes to place orders, map the grounds, create events and advertising, book entertainment and rides and then manage and oversee the running of the day. Their job eases a little as the army of students, parents and teachers who volunteer their time to serve others arrive to make fairy floss, or hamburgers, curry or German sausages. So, come along on Saturday to see what all the fuss is about. Come to scream on the rides. Come to buy yummy Fete food. Come to spend some fun time with your family in the busyness of life. Come to hang out with friends. Come to support the Mueller Community.

Liz Scheu - Head of Middle School

Every staff member in the Mueller Community would have a favourite day in the school year.

Then there have been picture perfect blue skies that created a magnificent backdrop for the rides

and fireworks.
