but it’s not just zero carbon dioxide emissions from the vt-hybrid, but thanks to highly efficient led floodlights, the power consumption and its light pollution is greatly reduced. moreover, the vt-hybrid totally erases noise pollution as it does not emit any noise because led floodlights are powered by battery instead of a diesel power generating set.

vt-hybrid lighting tower has led floodlights powered by a 7 hours run rechargeable battery, and during this time the lighting tower is running without noise and carbon emissions. after this period, the battery can be recharged by connecting it to the mains power supply. in the rear of the vt-hybrid there is a small diesel generating set which starts automatically when there is the need to use the lighting tower for longer than 7 hours, and it is not possible to recharge the battery from the mains power supply. the generating set can power the floodlights and recharge the battery at the same time. the vt-hybrid also has two optional accessories: a timer and a light sensor, and both of these options enable the vt-hybrid to start and stop automatically without the need for an operator.

the coNtroL paNeL is inside a locked compartment of the lighting tower. it includes all the alarms and the instrumentation to verify the functionality of the machine. optional instruments as timer and light sensor to make the lighting tower automatically turning on and off can be added into the control panel.

the rechargeaBLe Battery allows a continuous use of the floodlights for 7 hours. Charge and discharge cycle of the battery is guaranteed for more than 4000 hours at 100% of its performance. the battery can be easily taken out of the machine for a easy maintenance or replacement. an inverter (with a second back up unit) allows the battery to be recharged through an external power supplier. an automatic battery charge detector manages the switching on (and off) of the generating set when it is needed by the battery.

the lighting tower can be easiLy haNDLeD thanks to a central lifting eye and fork lift pockets to make the machine easily lifted by crane or forklift.
