Geek culture demands that the people in these movies blowing stuff up are superheroes and the bad guys are supervillains. Comic book movies have become a big part of geek culture, but that doesn't make them all good. This article brings you the five worst blockbuster comic book movies of all time. A fact of life, when dealing with geek culture is that the people who make up that culture love themselves some comic books. The tenets of the geek lifestyle also dictate that the only thing those existing in the culture love more than reading comic books is watching the stories from those books come to life on the big screen. There is a reason so many of our most popular geek culture comics have made the big screen. The reason why so many of them have been so bad is a much more difficult question to ask. Because there are so many comic book movies that have gone bad and because another part of geek culture is somewhat enjoying watching terrible movies we've brought you the five absolute worst of the worst. Go out and rent them, then settle in for a weekend of groaning and wincing at the terrible scripts and worse acting jobs. Catwoman: There may not be a more beloved female anti-hero in geek culture than Catwoman. Whether talking about Julie Newmar or Eartha Kitt or Michelle Pfeiffer, people who live the geek lifestyle can't get themelves enough of a woman in a cat suit who is equal parts criminal and savior. Halle Berry managed to completely destroy the geek culture's love for this character with her horrendous movie. This movie was so bad, its also considered one of the worst movies ever made period. Spawn: Michael Jai White and John Leguizamo should have made this movie a favorite of those who live the geek lifestyle. Instead there was an awful lot of overacting, especially from the usually awesome Martin Sheen and the movie ended up just being uneven and not remotely good. There were some pretty good special effects, but this blockbuster was quite the disappointment to a geek culture that had been waiting for this particular story to hit the big screen. Fantastic Four: Jessica Alba, one of the favorites of geek culture because of her hotness. Michael Chiklis, a favorite of geek culture because of his toughness, Chris Evans a geek lifestyle god thanks to his portrayal of Captain America and Ioan Gruffudd (who plays the poster child for geek culture Reed Richards) teamed up to make a stinker of a movie. Daredevil: Putting Ben Affleck in a comic book movie is an insult to geek culture on an epic scale. Much the way Gigli was an insult to everyone, everywhere. Having said that, Jennifer Garner was someone that those inside the geek lifestyle are very much in love with after her turn in Alias. Even her hotness couldn't save this terrible, terrible comic book movie. That didn't stop them from making a sequel based around her character. Elektra: Yes, members of geek culture, the fact that there was actually a sequel to Daredevil wasn't just a horrible nightmare. Elektra was probably 100 percent better than Daredevil because there was a 100 percent less Ben Affleck but this movie still offended those living the geek lifestyle with its intense … lameness. A fact of life, when dealing with geek culture is that the people who make up that culture love themselves some comic

books. The tenets of the geek lifestyle also dictate that the only thing those existing in the culture love more than reading

comic books is watching the stories from those books come to life on the big screen. There is a reason so many of our

most popular geek culture comics have made the big screen. The reason why so many of them have been so bad is a

much more difficult question to ask. Because there are so many comic book movies that have gone bad and because

another part of geek culture is somewhat enjoying watching terrible movies we've brought you the five absolute worst of

the worst. Go out and rent them, then settle in for a weekend of groaning and wincing at the terrible scripts and worse

acting jobs.

Catwoman:

Eartha Kitt or Michelle Pfeiffer, people who live the geek lifestyle can't get themelves enough of a woman in a cat suit who

is equal parts criminal and savior. Halle Berry managed to completely destroy the geek culture's love for this character

with her horrendous movie. This movie was so bad, its also considered one of the worst movies ever made period.

Spawn:

Michael Jai White and John Leguizamo should have made this movie a favorite of those who live the geek lifestyle. Instead

there was an awful lot of overacting, especially from the usually awesome Martin Sheen and the movie ended up just being

uneven and not remotely good. There were some pretty good special effects, but this blockbuster was quite the

disappointment to a geek culture that had been waiting for this particular story to hit the big screen.

Fantastic Four:

Jessica Alba, one of the favorites of geek culture because of her hotness. Michael Chiklis, a favorite of geek culture

because of his toughness, Chris Evans a geek lifestyle god thanks to his portrayal of Captain America and Ioan Gruffudd

(who plays the poster child for geek culture Reed Richards) teamed up to make a stinker of a movie.

Daredevil:

Putting Ben Affleck in a comic book movie is an insult to geek culture on an epic scale. Much the way Gigli was an insult

to everyone, everywhere. Having said that, Jennifer Garner was someone that those inside the geek lifestyle are very

much in love with after her turn in Alias. Even her hotness couldn't save this terrible, terrible comic book movie. That

didn't stop them from making a sequel based around her character.

Elektra:

Yes, members of geek culture, the fact that there was actually a sequel to Daredevil wasn't just a horrible nightmare.

Elektra was probably 100 percent better than Daredevil because there was a 100 percent less Ben Affleck but this movie

still offended those living the geek lifestyle with its intense … lameness.
