The Four Marks of the Church

Write out the 4 marks of the Church. Leave 2 lines between each. Then choose and write

The Church will always be ONE, because it will always believe in one Lord, Jesus, and carry out His one mission. We are all one, because we all share in Jesus’ body at communion, as if we were sharing from just one loaf.

The Church will always be HOLY, because it is built on the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. It is holy also because God’s spirit is always working in it, to purify it from sin.

The Church will always be APOSTOLIC, because the mission to go out and baptise and preach will never end. Also, because every new Bishop is the direct successor of the Apostles.

The Church will always be CATHOLIC because Jesus died for all people. So the Church must be there to serve all people, no matter what race, culture or time in history.
