integrated Heat PuMPS

A sophisticated, energy-saving solution for private homesThe HydraTherm integrated heat pump is

essentially a hot water cylinder (geyser) with

a super energy-efficient heat pump (instead

of a conventional electric element) as its

heating source. The heat pump is mounted

on top of the water tank and heats the water

by moving heat from the surrounding air to

the water, by means of a compressor and an

air-to-water heat exchanger.

Heat pumps are commonly compared to air-conditioners operating in reverse - where an air-conditioner transfers heat from the air inside a room to the atmosphere outside, a heat pump transfers heat from the air around it to the water in the geyser.

The HydraTherm range of high quality, efficient hot water heat pumps uses the “traditional” heat pump technology, which involves the installation of an external heat pump, piped to a separate water storage vessel, such as a geyser or boiler.

We provide full-service solutions to hotels, laundries, dairies and hospitals, as well as to the retail and manufacturing industries. a groWing Product PortfolioWe are continuously seeking new ways to offer efficient solutions to water heating challenges. We are currently developing our solar collectors and gas water heaters.

Flat plate and evacuated tube collectors

have been added to our existing product

range. All our solar products are accredited

to highest EN standards. We anticipate the

launch of our solar range in Quarter 1, 2017.

gaS Water HeaterS

The popularity of gas water heaters in

South Africa is increasing as property

developers and home owners alike are

looking for ways to reduce overall reliance

on the Eskom grid. As Eskom continues

to cap the total power offered to new

developments and the price of electricity

increases, it is making more and more

economic and practical sense to revert

to natural and LPG gas as a water

heating fuel.

We anticipate the launch of our 6, 8,

10,12 and 16 litres per minute LPG gas

water heaters in Quarter 1, 2017.

Larger capacities will be introduced later

in the year.

Hydranet iot cloud SerViceS Hydra Net is our proprietary cloud connectivity service, available soon as an add-on option for operations that require real-time control, monitoring, and fault reporting.

If the service is chosen, the relevant

product is fitted with a secondary

controller in the form of a computer

processor and sim card. This system

connects the water heating device to the

HydraNet cloud, providing real-time access

to diagnostics and control settings.
