Church family, thank you for all of

your prayers for me and my family.

Through sickness and death, this has

been a difficult time for us; but, it has

been an encouragement to have the

love and support of our Cowee church

family in the midst.

Never doubt the impact of your

prayers. We see from the life of Job,

that behind the scenes of what happens

in life, there is a present and real war

unfolding where our long time foe

seeks to do us harm. In the midst of

this spiritual warfare the prayers of

God's people are vital. In His

sovereignty God has chosen prayer as

a means of unleashing His support and

power. Prayer is as key to the

believer's battle as communications

are to a military unit in the midst of a

fire fight.

Know that God has used your prayers

to sustain us. As we thank you for your

past prayers, we also appreciate you

continuing to pray for us in the days

ahead so that the Lord may bolster us

through the throws of Satan that are

still ongoing.

It is tragic that some people do not have

a church family to reinforce them

spiritually and physically during the

battles of life. Personally, we are so

grateful that God has given us one

another. Being allowed to be part of

Jesus' body, His family, is truly a gift

that magnifies the joys of life and

lessens its hardships. It is further

proof, even when things are bleak that,

"As for me, I know that my Redeemer

lives," (Job 19:25).

Page 2 Thank You Notes... “Just wanted to thank all of you for your support over

the past few years as I have diligently asked and asked

for your help with our precious children. I am leaving

my post as Nursery Director due to family obligations,

mainly my dad's declining health and my want and

need to spend more time with him, to be able to go at a

moment’s notice. I love each and every one of you. I am

leaving you in good hands. Sierra is taking over in my

place. I will still be with our kids in my Sunday School

class. I can't leave them. I need them as much as I feel

the Lord wants me to continue loving on them. Please

keep us and my family in your prayers.

Much love, Mrs. Niece' (Denise)”

“I wanted to thank the Cowee Baptist Brotherhood for

building a ramp for me after I had an accident. It was

the only way to get in and out of the house in my wheel-

chair. It’s amazing how much being outdoors and feel-

ing a little sunshine helps you recover.

Kevin McWilliams”

“Thank you for our sweet treat in our mailboxes on

Monday. It was so very considerate to think of us espe-

cially at the end of the school year. Thank you again

for making Macon Middle School feel special.

Renee Rogers, 7th Grade”

“Thanks to the Love in Action groups that worked at

my house May 17. One group mowed and weed-eated,

another group painted the roof of my can house. I

thank you so very, very much.

Love, Sue Willis”

much appreciated! Blessings beyond measure!

“Thank you for all the acts of kindness (cards, calls,

prayers, visits, newsletters, church literature, food,

flowers, gifts) you gave mom when she was no longer

able to attend Sunday School. It meant so much to

her. Thank you for being her special caring friends.

Thank you for all your love, prayers, and blessings

you gave our family over the years.

Love Shirley, Joyce, & Bruce”

"Thank you for the Love in Action care package! It

meant a lot! Also, I love the cards that I always get!

They make me smile on really hard days! I miss this

church and all the wonderful people! I can't wait to

participate in Love in Action again!!

"Cowee Baptist Love in Action 365, I wanted to call

and thank you for the care bags you gave to cancer

patients. I am a cancer patient and was there getting

treatments and got to receive one. It was such a nice

thing for you all to do and please tell everyone I ap-

preciate it so much!

God Bless You, Mildred Williamson"
