Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 kilometers over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometers. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia.

The reef comprises of over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally hundreds of picturesque tropical islands with some of the worlds most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches.
Marine life
Thirty species of whales, dolphins, and porpoises have been recorded in the Great Barrier Reef, Six species of sea turtles, Saltwater crocodiles , 215 species of birds, Seventeen species of sea snake and More than 1,500 fish species live on the reef.
