Peter Young is a member of the Kennel Club (UK) and is also a published author.

He has been involved in dog showing all his adult life. He has competed and

judged in both conformation and grooming events both in the UK and abroad. With

grooming Peter has won six gold medals for the English team. Peter judges to group

level and has owned around 20 champions across three different groups. He can

award CC’s in Standard Poodles, Miniature Poodles, Toy Poodles, Lhasa Apso, Tibetan

Spaniels, Keeshond, both German Spitz, Miniature Pinschers and Griffons. Peter has

judged at Crufts three times, Miniature and Toy Poodles, in 2018 he judged Griffons

and next year Standard Poodles.

Peter is able to judge all puppy groups at Championship Shows and the Utility

Group at Championship Shows. He has also judged the Champion and Veteran

Stakes at Windsor (2017) and the semi-finals of the Junior Warrant Competition

(2018), including judging BIS at Open Shows.

As previously mentioned Peter has owned around 20 champions, mainly poodles,

but including three Miniature Pinscher, an Ibizan Hound and also stud book numbers

with Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, American Cocker Spaniel, Whippet and Griffon.
