Pictured below are Little Village students using iPads at school.
Little Village would like to thank the Giving Hope Network (GHN) for their very generous donation of 15 iPads, cases and stands. The mission of the Giving Hope Network is to develop shared solutions for large, complex societal challenges by inspiring and mobilizing a passionate and capable community committed to making a big difference in people’s lives. Hear Me Now is a major project of the GHN which is an effort to assist people with autism spectrum disorders, especially young children. We would also like to recognize Jennifer Muccioli, parent of Little Village student, Olivia Kunkel, who intro-duced Little Village to the Giving Hope Network. The children, parents and staff of Little Village are extremely thankful to the Giving Hope Network and Jennifer for thinking of and supporting Little Village.

Teacher Ilene DeMarco and the students from Room 10 celebrate Dr. Suess’ birthday by reading an all time favorite, One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish.
Read Across America in Room 20 Teacher Jessica Cavolo and the students in Room 20 participated in Read Across America Week during the week of March 2nd through March 6th. Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2nd, the birthday

Student Spotlight — Kristopher Cerciello
Kristopher Cerciello is a fun, loving,
energetic 4 year old little boy. Kristo-
pher has been at Little Village for
three years and he has come such
along way. When he first started
School he was very frustrated with
language and focusing on an activity. With the help of all his
teachers and therapists along the way, he is ready to enter
Kindergarten next year.
Kristopher loves playing on the playground at Little Village
and running around in gym with all his classmates. From the
moment he is dropped off to the time he is picked up Kristo-
pher is smiling and laughing with his friends.
Kristopher is an amazing little brother to his sister Mia and is
setting a great example for his baby brother Robbie. Kristo-
pher's experience at Little Village School has helped him
evolve to the sweetest, kindest most outgoing little boy.
We are so proud of Kristopher and all his accomplishments
and look forward to his bright future.

Teacher Erin Gruosso and the students in Room 21 have been counting to the 100th day of school from the start of the school year. To celebrate the 100th day, the children designed their own t-shirts using dot markers and then used food to count to 100 on a 100s chart.
The students also had a "ball" making their own 100 gumball machine. Happy 100th day!!
