What is God’s Name?:• Elohim - ים ִה֖ ֱא (Genesis 1:1) – literally “Gods”

• Plural to emphasize magnitude…plural intensive• Masculine add = ים (yud-mem) = “im”• Feminine add = ֹתו (vav-tav) = “oth”

• Job 40:15 – Behem-oth ֵהמֹות) (ְב֭• Not just ANY beast… probably a Dinosaur

• This is the origin of phrases like “King of Kings”

• “El” = ֱא (alef-lamed) is an abbreviation• El Shaddai – God Almighty• El ‘Elyon – God Most High• Elo Heinu – Our God
