THE HIDDEN CITYWhen I was a child and I did attend the camp of the parish, I watched with curiosity

to the small village. Near the shop that, in those kind of village, is tobacconist-newsstand-grocery-toys-and so on, there was a strange trade among the guys.

Comicbooks, magazines, illustrations put on the last stair of those shop, and I did ask to myself, as a city guy, why the owner of the shop didn’t drove away those guys... Then, I did realize that it wasn’t a trade... Comics were simply exchanged. An exchange of stories, adventures, dreamy emotions among

incredible heroes of a too far America, and clumsy characters of our own.

So, in those mountains, a colander became a helmet, and an abandoned hut was a shelter to conquer, with many unknown treasures.

It was so difficult, then, to come back to the city, where you couldn’t find a dreamy castle, or comics to be shared (they were only bought, thanks to

generosity of mom and dad).

Then, after time is gone, it’s not the green of meadows or grey of urban cement that can delimit your dreams, but hardships and obstacles that life presents us. It’s so difficult to restart dreaming, not only for reasons of age.

But dreams can’t be stopped: they change, becoming irrational paths towards selfish

achievements, but also in childhood passions towards ideal goals that fill our

heart.

In this spirit, we dreamed a comicbook that would gather all those dreams of humaneness, justice, that

that have thrilled hundreds of lives in that special place called Piccola Casa (‘Little House’).

Thus was born The Hidden City, a project that’s unique in his genre. It doesn’t want to reach memories, but emotions lived by those silent heroes that have done well in our world and can still excite children and adults in order not to finish the time of their dreams... But who can help us to achieve them, all together... By waking up to start to make them reality!

Let’s go exploring!
