Foreword
The Hidden Oak: a shelter for weary travellers, a gathering
place for forest denizens, and a refuge for creatures
shunned by their brethren.
So, how did the PCs get here?
It could be as simple as stumbling through the woods and
happening upon the great old fir with its sign, but if you are
looking for a few reasons your PCs may seek out the estab-
lishment, we have a few suggestions for you. Perhaps your
PCs have gained enough fame and notoriety that Crescen-
zo the Seer has sent them a message to come find him at
the Hidden Oak; he has information that will be of assis-
tance to them in an upcoming task. Perhaps the nearby
townsfolk have seen one too many strange creatures in the
woods outside of town and want someone to investigate.
Perhaps they just get lost and stumble upon a safe haven.
No matter how you get them there, we are sure your PCs
will never forget their night at the Hidden Oak.
