SINGLE AND DOUBLE SLEEPER CABS

AUTOMATED MANUAL TRANSMISSION The 16-speed ZF ASTRONIC transmission takes the guess work out of driving an extra heavy vehicle. The transmission will select and shift all gears in the full automatic model and ensure that your vehicle maintains “Green-Band” driving at all times. In semi-automatic mode manual gear select can be done to enhance operating efficiency. The vehicle remains fully protected against driver abuse in both operation modes.

FUEL TANKThe Hino 700 Series model range is fitted with aluminium

fuel tanks to provide enough fuel capacity to enable long-range driving yet maintaining low chassis weight.

ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM)

The ABS system maximises the directional stability and steering control during emergency braking on all road surfaces. The ABS system also assists with brake force distribution during normal braking conditions. The ABS system of the Hino 700 is also integrated into the Hydraulic Intarder of the Hino 700 transmission adding further vehicle safety.

The cabs of the Hino 700 range are spacious and comfortable to ease the strain of long distance driving.

The colours in the cab have been selected to be light and friendly, whilst remaining practical and easy to clean.

The power delivery of the Hino E13C engine has been developed to ensure

that the driver can maintain “Green-Band” driving under all driving

conditions. With a flat torque curve and high output torque from as low as

1200 rpm, the Hino 700 engine can deliver optimum power and efficient fuel consumption

resulting in optimum turnaround time.

Tipper - 300 litres, 4x2 - 390 litres and 6x4 - 820/850 litres.

AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEMThe air suspension system can be selected in operations where weight saving

and ride stability is required. The system allows for ease of trailer coupling with an airbag deflation system that will lower the fifth-wheel height, this

system can be operated from inside the cab. (Available on 2038 TT and 2848 TT)

SAFE AND COMFORTABLEAlthough safety is the ultimate goal in the design of the Hino 700 Series cab, it also remains extremely comfortable. With safety features such as the collapsible steering wheel and a highly rigid cab reinforced main frame, the driver/passengers are protected in the event of a collision. The Hino 700 is made comfortable with features like air suspension, fully adjustable driver’s seat, a tilt & telescopic steering column and easy to reach controls.

2841, 2845 and 2848 6X4 truck tractors are the ultimate medium and long-haul trucks.
