How is the GCSE assessed?
Unit 2: Literary Heritage Drama and Contemporary Prose- Individual Texts in Context In this exam you will answer 2 questions
about Lord of the Flies. And 2 questions about The History
Boys.
For both texts one question will be about a short extract from the book and the other question will be about the book as a whole. 2 HOUR WRITTEN PAPER

What was going on historically at the time it was written and the time it was set.

You need a good general knowledge of events in the whole play.
What happens when and where.How Bennett uses different methods to tell the story.e.g: Flash-forward and flash-back. Using Scripps as a narrator.
