Fact #3 The first motion picture ever made was in 1878

called The Horse in Motion. It was made by Edward Muybridge to prove the myth

that a horses hoofs are ever off the ground while galloping.

Fact #15 Charles Ginsburg led the research team at Ampex

Corporation in developing the first practical videotape recorder (VTR).

In 1951, the first video tape recorder (VTR) captured live images from television cameras by converting the information into electrical impulses and saving the information onto magnetic tape.

Ampex sold the first VTR for $50,000 in 1956.

and sound was first demonstrated on April 14, 1956.

It was invented by Ray Dolby, Charles Ginsberg, and Charles Anderson and sold for around $75,000 apiece.
