The Hotel Information Exchange

This pair work information gap has students practicing the language for talking about hotel facilities, prices and times. Before class, make one copy of sheet A and B for every two students in the class. Procedure Split the class into pairs, and handout sheets A and B. Give the students a minute to the read the instructions and then elicit from them what they have to do. Student A goes first and asks all his or her questions to complete the information. Then the students swap roles. The students should hide their sheets from each other during the activity. When each pair has finished, they check that their information is the same. After that, they compare the two hotels to decide which they prefer and why.
