Like a lot of people he had a variety of jobs after graduating over a wide range of industries including music, dairy, direct mail, and advertising. However in 2007 his future career in sports took shape. While exploring opportunities to get back into the music industry a friend forwarded him and email about the Cowboys New Stadium Project. On a whim, he applied over the internet. He was hired by the Dallas Cowboys on Octo- ber 15th of that year as a Sales Consultant and went on to sell more seats than any person in the history of AT&T Stadium. Over the course of the last eight years he has been promoted multiple times and currently acts as Premium Sales Manager. Jayson has been happily married to his wife Jennifer of 10 years. Together they have a 6 year old daughter, Claire, and 3 year old son, Knox. The Star will be a multi-use special events and sports facility to be developed on a footprint of approximately 20 acres. The Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, on a footprint of approximately five acres, will be the centerpiece of additional property, designated for mixed use develop- ment. In total, the project will consist of 91 acres located at the northwest corner of Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway. The complex will include a multipurpose, 12,000 seat, indoor stadium and two outdoor fields that will provide facilities for use by the Cowboys, City of Frisco, Frisco ISD football and soccer games and other sports, athletic, academic, fine arts and entertainment events. The Cowboysʼ complex will be home to the entire football operation, including adminis- trative offices, coaches offices and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, The remainder of the property will include additional office buildings, lifestyle, retail and restaurant space, hotel and residential components that Dallas based Lincoln Property Company will handle the leasing of as the project moves forward. However, The Big Short won the Producers Guild Award and many of the same people vote for both awards. For Best Director they agreed the winner would be Ale-jandro Iñárritu for The Revenant; this is his second Oscar win in a row. George Miller was also thought to be a possible winner because he has been a director so long. For Best Ac-tor they chose Leonard DiCaprio, although they also thought Michael Fassbender might win. They believed Brie Larson would win, ev-en though they thought Cate Blanchett could win any year. They thought that the Suppor-ting Actor category was most competitive with Sylvester Stallone as the sentimental favorite, but also Mark Rylance could win; both gave very subdued performances. For Best Sup-porting Actress, both selected Alicia Vikan-der. [See how they did below.] They noted that a larger story around The Oscars was why are they so white. It is an issue because of the way movies get funded and promoted. The academy is ninety percent white and seventy percent male.

THOUGHTS ON . . .

Competition is a painful thing, but it produces great results.

~ Jerry FlintYou don't need to outdo the com-petition. It's expensive and defen-sive. Underdo your competition. We need more simplicity and clarity. ~ Jason FriedMy grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition.

~ Indira GandhiThe biggest things are always the easiest to do because there is no competition.
