Where do you like to read? I like to read in my room at night because it’s quiet and relaxing in my room. Who inspired you to read? My older brother inspired me to read because he made reading look fun. What will you read next? Next I will read Catching Fire because it is the sequel to The Hunger Games and I enjoyed reading that book. She is deserted in an arena with twenty-three other competitors who need to survive in order to win. The fantasy begins at District 12 in a gloomy future. Katniss has been hunting and gathering to feed her family for years. This year, the reaping will change her life forever. Katniss’s little sister Prima’s name was drawn at the reaping. Katnissac’s first instinct was to volunteer to take her place. She and the boy selected traveled together through the challenges of the capitol to the Hunger Games arena. The only way to win is to be the last one standing. The odds are against Katniss Everdeen who is competing against twenty-three others who have trained for this moment. I think that the plot of the book is interesting and exciting because the idea of annual games of fight to the death is unheard of. Everything is very intense in the arena and the story is told from Katniss’s point of view, so you could follow every detail.
