4) Hole in the ground
There was a hole, in the middle of the ground,
The prettiest hole that you ever did see
The hole in the ground
And the green grass grew all around and around,
And the green grass grew all around.
And In this hole there was a root…
And On this root there was a tree…
And On this tree there was a branch…
And On this branch there was a twig…
And On this twig there was a nest…
And In this nest there was an egg…
And In this egg there was a bird…
And On this bird there was a wing…
And On this wing there was a feather…
5) Jamaica Farwell
Down the way where the nights are gay
And the sun shines daily on the mountain top
I took a trip on a sailing ship
And when I reached Jamaica, I made a stop
But I’m sad to say, I’m on my way
Won’t be back for many a day
Me heart is down, me head is turning round
I had to leave a little girl in Kingston town
Down at the market you can hear
Ladies cry out while on their heads they bear
Ackee rice salt fish are nice
And the rum is fine, any time of the year
Sounds of laughter everywhere
And the dancing girls swaying to and fro
I must declare that me heart is there
Though I’ve been from maim to mexico

7) Night time noises.
Night time noises, shapes and shadows, creeping ‘round my bed
That’s as if imagination, all inside my head.
I hear something big and furry, creeping ‘round the house
I’m so frightened please what is it? Silly it’s a mouse.
Two green eyes are at the window, staring at the mat.
I’m so frightened, please what is it? Silly it’s a cat.
I can see enormous fingers pointing right at me.
I’m so frightened please what is it? Silly it’s a tree.
I can see a great white face that’s looking in my room.
I’m so frightened please what is it? Silly it’s the moon.
Night time noises, shapes and shadows, couldn’t hurt aflee.
They were just imagination, all made up by me.
8) One by one
As the world was turning, long ago way back in time
Not a star was burning, only darkness filled the sky
Then the land was covered by the sun
Flowers started growing one by one. One by one
One by one came the leaves to the trees
One by one came the waves upon the seas
Came the Man and his wife, life had begun
They were blessed with little children on by one
Everyone a brother joining hands in song of praise
Helping one another, through the dawning of the age
Soon the bonds of friendship were undone
Fighting for their places in the sun. On by one
One by one came the boats to the shore
One by one went the young men to the war
Many died in the fight and few returned
One by one they told the lesson they had learned
One by one we must kneel, we must pray
One by one we must learn to love again
Let our children walk-out in the sun
Through the land lets all join hands one by one
One by one came the leaves to the trees
One by one came the waves upon the trees
Came the Man and his wife, life had begun
Let us all join hands together one by one
9) The twelve days of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree

Third day…three French hens
Fourth day …four calling birds
Fifth day … five gold rings
Sixth day… six geese a-laying
Seventh day… seven swans’ a-swimming
Eight day… eight maids’ a-milking
Ninth day… nine drummers drumming
Tenth day… ten pipers piping
Eleventh day… eleven ladies dancing
Twelfth day … twelve lords a leapin
10) Blowing in the wind
How many roads must a man walk down,
Before you can call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail,
Before she sleeps in the sand?
How many times must the cannon ball fly,
Before its forever banned?
The answer my friend is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind.
The answer my friend is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind.
How many times must a man look up,
Before he can see the sky?
How many ears must one man have,
Before he can hear people cry?
How many deaths will it take till he knows,
That too many people have died?
(Chorus)
How many years must a mountain exist,
Before it is washed to the sea?
How many years must some people exist,
Before they’re allowed to be free?
How many times must a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn’t see?
(Chorus)
11) Una paloma Blanca
When the sun shines on the mountain and the night is on the run.
It’s a new day, it’s a new way. As I fly up to the sun.
I can see the morning sunlight. I can smell the new born hay.
I can hear Gods voices calling. From the golden starlight way
Una Paloma Blanca. I’m just a bird in the sky
Una Paloma Blanca. Over the mountains I fly
no one can take my freedom away
no one can take my freedom away
Once I had my share of loosing, as they locked me on a chain
Yes! They tried to take my power. Oh! I still can feel the pain
12) Matilda
Matilda, matilda, matilda
She take me money and run Venezuela (2)
Five hundred dollars friends I lost
What made me sell me cat and horse
Heya! Matilda she take me money and run Venezuela Matilda,
matilda, matilda, matilda
She take me money and run Venezuela (2)
Well de money was just inside me bed
Stuck-up in de pillow beneath me head
Heya! Matilda she take me money and run Venezuela
Matilda, matilda, matilda
She take me money and run Venezuela (2)
Well my friends, never to love again
All me money gone in vain
Heya! Matilda she take me money and run Venezuela
Matilda, matilda, matilda
She take me money and run Venezuela (2)
13) Puff the Magic Dragon
Puff the magic Dragon lived by the sea,
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called honaley
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff
And brought him strings and ceiling wax
And other fancy stuff
Together they would travel on a boat with bellowed sails
Jackie kept a lookout perched on Puffs gigantic tail
Noble kings and princes would bow whenever they came
Pirate ships would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name
Dragons live forever bur not so little boys
Painted wings and giant rings, made way for other toys
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty Dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.
His head was bent in sorrow; green-scales fell like rain
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane
Without his lifelong friend Puff could not be brave
So Puff that mighty Dragon sadly slipped into his cave.
14) Ging gang gooly gooly.
Ging gang gooly gooly watcha
Ging gang go. Ging gang go
Hey la ho, hey la shyla ho
Hey la shyla, shyla ho ho ho ho
Shaleewalee shaleewalee
Shaleewalee shaleewalee
Umpa umpa umpa
15) If we could consider each other
If we could consider each other
A neighbor, a friend or a brother
It would be a wonderful, wonderful world
It would be a wonderful world
I each little kid had fresh milk each day
If each old soul had some place to stay
If each working man had enough time to play
It would be a wonderful world
If people all over could trust one another
Not thinking about their race or their colour
If they would agree to join hands altogether
It would be a wonderful world.
16) It’s a small world after all
It’s a world of laughter a world of tears
It’s a world of hopes and a world of fears
There’s so much that we share,
That it’s time we’re aware,
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world
There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone
Though the oceans are wide,
And the mountains divide,
It’s a small world after all
