A year ago, the management introduced a 'no-bins' policy in the staff cafeteria and the food-waste went from around twenty kilos per day to zero within a few weeks.

As Madhubhan is a massive resort spread across twenty-five acres of land and has occupancy around the year, the horticultural and kitchen waste weighs over 300 kilos. In order to deal with this and to lead by example, Madhubhan installed Central Gujarat's largest compost machine in the vicinity, turning kitchen waste into organic manure.

Another initiative "Save the Planet" by Team Madhubhan not only helps conserve nature but also offers cashback to the guests in the form of final deductions. If you wish the bed linens not to be washed, simply fill up the form and return it. As a token of gratitude, we will pass back the saved washing cost

against the guest credit, giving you savings on your final bill and a cheer for helping save the environment.

As a pro-conservation organization, Madhubhan teaches the lesson of sustainability to its staff and sends a message to all the guests by positively encouraging them. Our efforts have been recognized and appreciated, and Madhubhan won the "Green Hotel Award" at the ASSOCHAM National Conference - 2018 and "Excellence in Environmental Sustainability" at SAATE awards- 2018.
