I. INTRODUCTION

The forecasts tell, that if now the volume of knowledges doubles every seven years, by 2030 it will double to 72 days! It must be, is and will be stimulated the storage of cronofags objects, in virtual forms of unlimited buildups, but… without the possibility to make use of them! The limited time resource won’t allow humans, as much as they would want to achieve the benefit, of reading till the final, to understand all, to learn all! In the future, more than nowadays, the knowledges will become important factor always reinstated in discussion by innovation. The initial professional training will remain essential. To still present interest on a job market with an extraordinary dynamic, each individ will have to permanently improve knowledges. In this context, will be increasingly difficult to tell apart job from training and forming. These above represents a category of variables: the importance of training, of continuous training and large volume of information. These are not the only problems. In the perspective that over 50% of the workers will change residence at less that 5 years apart, and coordinators and their bosses with an even greater frequency, in the perspective that the population will live further from the city centre, .. with these figures we will need to think again formal and nonformal education – in terms of nomadic ubiquity and those of virtual community.

It is possible to take part in the future to the most important revolution. To this matter it is possible that education services, and also other key services such as social order, to be in time replaced by… machines. It is possible to be needed, and thus to appear instruments, hardware and software, that will organize training and knowledge verification. “The nomadic ubiquity of information will become permanent control of knowledges.1” Today it still posible, with a good rhetoric, with a discurse filled with personality doubled by a multimedia support designed to help the student to understand the meaning of things, to “fill” the amphitheatre? But tomorrow? But time is a precious resource. Maybe THE TIME will don't permited student to be in amphitheatre. And still he, the student, must inform himself, he must become skilled, with upgraded information, ready to be integrated on the dynamic job market, or fit to maintain. Connecting the student to INFORMATION, through the teacher must rely on ways of training that bear in mind all the above aspects and to be formal known, to be piloted based on realistic programs, with a right account, between the up to date theory, the number of hours allotted for the theory and the number of hours allotted to the profile practices. Only after this aspect will find its solutions, we can personalize the class. I am trying with hardware and software instruments currently at my disposal to connect the student to information: Internet, Smart board, Video projector, and DIMDIM platform. Is what about I want to related in this article.

II. HOW TO DO ?

So, DimDim allows you to start or schedule a meeting as a presenter. Aftere clicking on Host, meeting a window will pop up which will have the tabs General, Options and Features:

Figure 2. Host Meeting

For exemple, I want to presente Economics, course number 3; It’s easy, I’ll fill field “Meeting agenda” with titles “Economics 3” and objectives. In the field “Attendees” I’ll put a list of emails, my students emails”, separated by commas. The list can be imported from Agenda. I’ll selected “start now” and “send email using web meeting”.

Figure 3. Host Meeting The next step will be to activate the tab “Options” and to decide some security features, such

as: the host admit attendees to the meeting room from a waiting area (1), the number of attendees for the meeting session (4); the maximum limit depend on the plan (Green, Pro, Webminar), but is between 20 and 100 participants.

To recapitulate: students will can see me, the presenter’s, live video and desktop while hearing multiple voices over IP (VoIP). All attendees can simultaneously annotate a presentation, mark up a whiteboard, send instant messages and broadcast their audio and video if permitted by me.

I, the presenter, can also choose how many microphones to share; max is 3 plus one for presenter.

Figure 4. Features

Finaly, the presenter decides “Features” of the transmitions: so it are possible to be enabe/disable “Audio/Video” signal, “Private chat” or “Public chat”, “Desktop” and “Whiteboard” sharing feature.

If you remember Figure 1 “Upcoming meeting”, some rows above, we have on the left side a button “Join Meeting”.

Figure 5. Join Meeting

After the student declare email address, the name that will display to others in the web

meeting and the name of the Meeting Room he wish to join, if the host started the meeting; and now the course can begin!

For a busy student it’s useful to have a list of all the meetings that he has schedule for the next 7 calendar days.

V. HIGHER EDUCATION IN EUROPE

As a conclusion I want to citate from European Commission about Higher Education: „Higher education plays an essential role in society, creating new knowledge, transferring it to

students and fostering innovation. Institutions throughout Europe are working to modernise, both in terms of the courses they offer and the way they operate.

Governments and higher education institutions are looking for ways to creating better conditions for universities.”
