Solar control glass

Outstanding international glass architecture places high demands on the materials both technically and aesthetically. With ipasol, Stopsol, Story and Sunergy, architects and planners can realize future-orientated energy concepts in their buildings, without having to compromise on transparency and captivating looks.

Our competence, for example: A maximum of daylight enters the building. At the same time, the very low level of total energy transmittance (solar factor) results in energy savings when using air-conditioning systems.

Insulation glass

iplus 3LS is the name of the leading product in the iplus thermal insulation glass family – a high-end product for triple glazing that fulfils the highest aesthetic demands and ensures the most comfortable living standard.

iplus AntiFog: Effective thermal insulation can cause condensation to build up on the outer pane. Condensation is formed overnight or at dawn when two specific conditions occur, namely low temperatures and a high ambient relative humidity level.

AGC Interpane offers a special anti-condensation coating which delays the appearance of external condensation.

ipasafe safety glass

In the field of glazing, safety is of vital importance. Interpane also offers high-end products in this area:

ipasafe laminated safety glass binds splinters and is resistant to attack – so it can be used wherever high security is needed.

Heat-strengthened glass and toughened safety glass are also in the product range.

ipaphon sound-proofing glass

City life is loud. Traffic, building sites and industry all cause noise, a stress factor that interferes with life and can be damaging to health.

Modern ipaphon sound-proofing glass is tailor-made for the specific noise situation. It thus protects effectively from the noise and at the same time minimizes heat losses.

New: Now available on the basis of triple glazing.

Glass for style and design

Sophisticated architecture with large areas of glass offers planners and artists almost unlimited opportunities to work with colours, forms, patterns and structures. In the hands of creative architects, a façade turns into an artist's canvas.

The range of possibilities for glass design has never been more extensive than it is today. On the one hand, long-standing and proven procedures are available, such as classical screen printing or sandblasting. On the other hand, there are completely new methods of glass design such as painted glass, acid-etched glass or ceramic digital printing.

As a strong alliance, AGC INTERPANE can thus offer a comprehensive range of products to its clients and partners. The opportunities for combining the procedures described here are almost unlimited.

Glass-Products for the solar industry

Glass for solar thermal and photovoltaic modules has to meet special demands, e.g. it must have a minimal iron content for maximum purity and transparency – this makes it highly efficient for the transmittance of solar energy.

Our high-transmission coated cover glass iplus HT further increases the energy transmission by a decisive 5 percent – that results in maximal efficiency, because more energy is available at the absorber surface.

Functional glass for every application

Contemporary architecture is bright, light and transparent. Ambitious planners are calling for more and more functional glass of different types to substitute non-transparent materials. Examples:

ipatherm is a heatable glass – its surface temperature can reach up to 60°C. This technical glass type is used to thaw the snow load on glass roofs, to de-ice panes or to increase the comfort in rooms without a conventional heating system.

ipaview CF is an LC (liquid-crystal) glass with variable transparency and makes the glazing multifunctional: A transparent view to the outside, an opaque sightscreen or an eye-catching display.

ipasafe S: Architects and planners discover the advantages of safety glass as a construction material and are increasingly using the exceptional structural and creative assets of this fascinating material.
