Shaw apologises for not speaking at meeting about Sir Hugh Lane's
pictures being returned to Dublin. Shaw is content they should stay
in England, Says Lady Gregory and Yeats treated O'Casey as a baby
over his play, The Silver Tassie, by refusing to produce it and
comments on the play. In postscript discusses her Last Plays of
which he liked Dave best.

Shaw informs Pinker that in response to an American magazine's inquiry about publishing one of his plays, Caesar and Cleopatra, that the play has been on the market for 12 years but the magazine can certainly pay him if they want to publish it anyway. He also tells Pinker that he already has an agent in America who should have the first opportunity to distribute Androcles, but if Pinker wants to make an off~r for England, Shaw would be open to the idea. t
