CHRISTMAS MESSAGE Jesus Christ, God-With-Us And The Light Of Our Lives
We begin this long-awaited celebration of Christmas by wishing one an-other “A BLESSED, HAPPY, AND HOLY CHRISTMAS!” We are here not just to keep a religious and cultural tradition, but to commemorate the human birth of God’s Only Begotten Son. This is the event that has changed the course of human history and still has the power to change our lives for the better. No words can express the importance of this event in the history of humankind as well as our personal lives. In all truth, after the birth of Jesus Christ, nothing and nobody has been the same as before, for in him God has become a brother to every human being in the fullest sense. God’s incarnate Son has come to
share our problems, worries, and aspirations that we might share God’s peace and God’s very life. Such a wonder will continue to be our portion if we, as individuals, as families, and as a community of believers, open our hearts to receive Jesus with the same generosity with which Mary Most Holy received him as her Saviour and Lord. Let us do just that, even as we include in our intentions the needs of all those we love, the entire community of believers, and the whole of mankind. With hearts full of gratitude and adoration to the new born Baby Jesus, let us offer ourselves totally to the Lord, especially in this awe-some Eucharistic celebration of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

STAINED GLASS WINDOWS IN OUR CHURCH
There are fifteen windows at the back top wall of our Church (just turn around and look back, up the wall). We are thinking of beautifying the windows with stained glasses. Think of something special you can offer “Our Baby Jesus” this Christmas as an individual or as a family. Also, as we have come to the end of 2016 and are now about to enter 2017, how can we thank God for all His blessings and grace given to "me/you" in this 2016 that is about to end, and how can we, individually or as a family recommit ourselves to God’s guidance, protection and love this 2017? I have a suggestion for you. Why not think of paying for one stained glass window either in full or in part as your gift to “Our Baby Jesus” this Christmas and as a renewal of your commitment to God in thanksgiving to Him for all the blessings received in 2016 and for His continued protection in 2017? This indeed will be a wonderful birthday gift to Him and a thoughtful recommitment gift of love to the Lord. If you want to be part of this awesome project, let us know by contacting me or the parish office with your contact details. What we need at the moment is the expression of interest. The costing/price for each stained glass window will be communicated later on. May God bless you as we continue to work together in God’s vineyard. It is well with you!
