The Kelvin Division Girls Can Do At Christmas Resource
Kelvin Division Senior Section Girls Can Do At Christmas Resource
There are 5 sections which make up this resource. Each section comes with activities that
appropriate for all sections. In order to complete the badge;
• Rainbows should complete one clause from each section.
• Brownies should complete one clause from each section and then a further two of their
choice.
• Guides should complete one clause from each section and then a further three of their
choice.
• Senior Section members should complete one clause from each section and then a further
four of their choice.
Each clause in each section is marked with a trefoil for the section(s) that the clause is most
appropriate for.
Crafts at Christmas
1. Make or decorate a Christmas Candle.
2. Make a simple Christmas Tree decoration, here are some suggestions;
• A treat size box of Smarties, wrapped in shiny wrapping paper and tied round with ribbon
to make it look like a present, to hang on the tree.
• Make a miniature skating boot stocking. Cut out a double size of skating boot shape in red
or other coloured felt, approximately 3 inches high - large enough to take a small fudge
finger. Stitch or glue the sides of the stocking together and stitch a large paperclip in along
the bottom of the boot, as the skating boot blade. Attach a loop to hang on the tree,
decorate and insert a sweetie in the boot.
• Cut out star shoes or angel shapes from coloured card or paper, add glitter, colour and
ribbon to put on the tree.
• Collect and decorate pine cones, add a loop of string or ribbon to hang it on the Christmas
tree.
3. Make a Christmas Wreath.
