Two worlds collide in this “breathtaking and exquisite” (The New York Times) musical, based on the 2015 Tony Award®-winning Lincoln Center Theater production. One of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s finest works, THE KING AND I boasts a score that features such beloved classics as “Getting To Know You,” “I Whistle a Happy Tune,” “Hello Young Lovers,” “Shall We Dance” and “Something Wonderful.” Set in 1860’s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. THE KING AND I is “too beautiful to miss” (New York Magazine).

IF FULL PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE BALANCE DUE DATE, ALL TICKETS WILL BE RELEASED BACK TO THE PUBLIC. Credit Card payments are preferred, but checks are also acceptable. Checks must be received 14 days prior to event. Make all checks payable to the City of Lakeland and send to: RP Funding Center, ATTN: Group Sales, 701 W Lime Street, Lakeland, FL 33815. Cash is not accepted unless payment is made at the RP Funding Center Box Office. Please do not mail cash. Performances, dates, prices and times subject to change, and ticket quantities are limited. Ticket required for age 2 and over; age of children requiring a ticket varies by show so call ahead to confirm. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges will be permitted. Group discounts and dining not available on every performance. *Due dates are subject to change due to high demand. A deposit will be required
