LUKE 17 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they

did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and

destroyed [them] all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the

Son of man is revealed.

GENESIS 18 1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the

2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw [them], he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself

Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard [it] in the tent door, which [was] behind him.

12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord

E-34 Now, what happens? You can't stand neutral. You've got to be filled with something to survive. Notice, you might be filled with one thing over

another. You say, "Brother Branham, I'm kind of on the fence." No, you're not. The Bible plainly says that all that was not sealed with the Holy Ghost received the mark of the beast. All that didn't have the seal of

God in their forehead, had the mark of the beast. You've got one of it now.


I'd like to test it just a little bit and see where we're standing. Oh, the mark of the beast, remember, is a religious mark. Certainly it is. And you might be filled with religion. You could have all kinds of religion. That doesn't save you at all. You can just be a religious fanatic, if you want to be. Touch not, taste not,

handle not, smell not. That don't have one thing to do with the Holy Ghost.


E-35 You might be filled with a bunch of malice. You might be filled with a bunch of prejudice, so full that you can't even set and hear one sermon preached. You might be filled with a lot of hatred. You despise everybody that don't agree with you. You might be filled with a lot of nonsense too. You might be filled with a lot of Arthur Godfrey's dirty jokes, so much

that you think, too much--so much of that, you won't go to church on Wednesday night or something.

You might be filled with Elvis Presley's rock-and-roll. That's true. But you're filled with something. And your own life bears you record of what you're filled with. "By their fruits you shall know them."

You're filled with something. You might be filled with a bunch of laziness, just too lazy to do anything about

it.


E-36 Well, you don't have to be that way. Christ died that you might be cleansed from all of those

things. You might be filled with a bunch of creeds. You might be filled with a bunch of denominations. But

God don't want you filled with that. God made a place in there to put Himself in. God wants you

to be filled with Himself.What takes place when you're filled with God? When

you're filled with God, you're filled with the Holy Ghost, you're filled with power, you're filled with love,

with joy, with peace, with longsuffering, with goodness, with meekness, with gentleness, with

worship. You're filled with joy.


David said, "My cup runneth over." And if David had a cup running over before the Holy Ghost come, what

would it be now?You're filled with something. And when you're filled with man's ideas, if you're filled with churchanity, if

you're filled with creeds, you're only building yourself a Babylon that's got to fall. If you fill yourself up with a modern world, if you fill yourself up with lust, if you fill yourself up with pride, if you fill yourself up with your denomination, you're lost. There's only one

way to endure; that is to put the original thing that God made that compartment in your heart to be filled with, and that was the Holy Ghost.

E-89 Rock-and-roll and the things of the world can never satisfy that spot in a human heart till God

comes in there, if there's any place there for Him. If when He made that person, He made a place

88 God's chosen place... Notice. And when you are truly baptized into Him, the true evidence is that you believe Him, the Word. How can you be a part of Him and then deny Him? How can I deny my hand being

hand, deny that's my foot? There's something spiritually wrong with the believer that denies any

Word that God ever said in promise. There's something spiritually wrong with that so-called

believer.You can't deny one letter of Him, because you

have become a part of the same. You are a part of Him, because you're baptized into Him by

the Holy Spirit that's brought you into the Body of Jesus Christ.


90 What a beautiful thing. God had a certain place to met--He met Abraham, and there Abraham

worshipped. All down through the Testament... And His promised Word will be interpreted in you by

Him. Did you get that? The Word that He promised to fulfill in the day that you're living in, you will be a written epistle of God, read of

all men. Not what you claim, but what God does through you will speak out louder than anything you could claim. God said, "These signs shall follow them

that believe." That speaks through you.


He spoke of this age, what would be now. The believers of this age has to believe this, what He promised today. Just the same as they had to come into the ark to be saved, go out of Egypt to be saved, they have to come into Christ to be saved now, into the Word Message that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

How do you get into it? By Baptism. Baptism of what, water? By the Holy Ghost. One Spirit we're all

baptized into this one Body.


93 And His promised Word, He will not--you won't have to interpret It, He will interpret It through you, what you are doing, what He promised to do. The church that follows Him will be so much like

Him until the people will know. Look at Peter and John when they was questioned about healing a man at the gate called Beautiful. They said they perceived, those priests did, that they were both ignorant and unlearned men, but they take notice that they had

been with Jesus. Because what? They were doing the things that He did.

sickness, making us so heaven bound that we become beside ourselves. Till we do things

strange to the children of the world; how they stand by and laugh, and think that we are crazy; just as they did at Pentecost, saying, "Are not all these

drunk?"

We see the nations uniting; we see the world uniting; we see the churches uniting. We see the Bride

uniting, uniting with the Word. Why? The Word is God. And as the Word... As the Bridegroom (being the Word), and the Bride (being the hearer of

the Word), they come together in a union. They unite like a wedding. See, they're getting ready for a

wedding, and they--they become one. The Word becomes you; you become the Word. Jesus said,

"At That day you know that all the Father is, I am; and all I am, you are; and all you are, I am. In that day you'll know that I'm in the Father, Father in Me, I in

you, and you in Me." See? At that day. What day? This day. We find out the great hidden mysteries of

God being revealed. Oh, how I like that.
