A 30-minute consultation is usually enough for a complete analysis of the problem, if you are well prepared. Please follow these suggestions:

1. Write down the basic facts of your problem. Start at the beginning and note dates, times, names, places and telephone numbers. Note any other information that you believe is important to the case. This will enable you to spend most of the consultation time discussing the problem with the attorney or the certified Medicare counselor.
