Program Features:

• Collaboration with a Wound Specialist Phyisician• Dedicated, certified, and specialized wound

care nurses help plan your course of treatment to include physical therapy, nutrition, and educational resources relating to wound management, prevention and healing

• Treatment protocols featuring nutrition interventions, electronic stimulations, ultrasound, pulse lavage, MIST therapy, and wound vac treatment

• Physical & Occupational therapy evaluations & treatment available up to 7 days a week

• Wound-trained interdisciplinary team evaluation and review

• Appropriate orthotics, compression devices, wheelchairs, and bed surfaces complement your care

• If appropriate, nutrition and education counseling for patients and caregivers to continue wound care at home

What to expect:A complex wound is often the result of the treatment of other conditions, including cardiac, pulmonary, neuromuscular, and renal diseases.

A wound that does not heal properly can pose serious health problems and be debilitating. At Lexington Health Care Centers, our specialty staff uses up-to-date treatments, techniques, and equipment to deliver comprehensive wound care designed to return our patients to optimum health in the shortest time.

Our program is designed to support you physically and emotionally.

Our team collaborates with an on-staff wound specialist physician and a versatile team to create an individualized treatment plan to ad-dress the specific needs of your diagnosis as well as other medical issues and any previous history of wounds.
