ONLINE ORDERING OF LDS MICROFILMS NOW AVAILABLE
As an affiliate of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT, the Demmer Library offers
family history researchers the opportunity to use microfilm and microfiche from the Family
History Library. In the past, patrons would come to the Demmer Library and order the films with
the assistance of the Demmer staff. Now patrons can order and pay for films using their own
computer and a Mastercard/Visa card or PayPal. Patrons will need to set up an account on the
FamilySearch website before they can order films. Once the researcher knows the numbers of
the films they would like to order, they will go to www.familysearch.org/films and place their
order. Email updates will inform patrons of the status of their orders. If you have any questions
about this new process, contact Nancy at the Demmer Library at 715-546-3391.
