Living in Romania and going to a new school was hard. Ada and her sisters all had to learn Romanian at a young age.

Although despite the hardships of being very poor and not having a lot of things, she studied hard, got good grades, and even took an interest in music.

She learned piano from her grandma and when she moved on to college she took music school and learned the cello.

Her sister played the piano and became a teacher after playing for a long time.

Ada was very dedicated to studying music and learning to play. She was a very skilled piano player when she was only 4 years old.

She studied cello at one of the top music schools. She graduated when she was 26 and went on to play cello in the biggest symphonic orchestra in the country.

Ada married Victor Golescu who was a conductor at the symphonic orchestra.They had two kids, a boy a girl. Their names were Gabriel and Mihaela.Gabriel was born in 1962 and Mihaela was born in 1963.

Before they came to America, Ada and Victor had two children. Gabriel was born in 1962 and Mihaela was born i 1963. Ada and Victor divorced when Mihaela was 4 and Gabi was 5.

Mihaela came to America for the first time when she was in her early 20’s. In 1996, Mihaela had a daughter whom she named after her wonderful mother, Ada. Ada came to visit her granddaughter by the same name and has been with them, visiting Romania for about 2 months every year ever since. (:
