How to shoot a basketball ball!

You will need a basketball! And a hoop if u want to shoot!

1. To shoot a basketball you will need to

put a hand on the bottom of the basketball and one on the side u

prefer.

2. The word BEEF stands for Balance Eyes Elbow Follow threw. Balance means both feet facing the hoop.

Eyes means look at the back of the ring. Elbow means it should be bent

and inline with your knee. Follow threw you should flick your wrist after

you release the basketball.

3. You bend your knees, jump and flick your wrist hold your hand in the air after you

release the basketball!!

Michael  Jordan  Interview!  This  week,  Josh  and  Zak  from  Basketball  Magazine  sat  down  with  NBA  legend  Michael  Jordan  to  ask  him  a  few  questions.    Do  you  have  any  pre-­‐game  hobbies?    Yes  I  clap  powder  in  the  scorers  face  before  a  match.    What  does  it  feel  like  to  be  so  famous?    It  feels  great  thanks  to  all  the  supporters  and  people  that  help  me  get  so  far  in  basketball!    What  are  some  good  basketball  tips?  Use  your  non-­‐preferred  hand  and  keep  working  hard  on  and  off  the  court  and  always  listen  to  what  your  coach  says!    Who  was  the  hardest  player  to  defend?  Magic  Johnson  for  the  Lakers  cause  he  was  an  outstanding  player  and  a  very  good  passer!    What  are  some  of  your  most  embarrassing  moment?  Turning  up  to  a  match  with  my  shorts  the  wrong  way  around  and  having  to  change  in  the  middle  of  the  court!    What  was  your  favorite  arena  to  play  at?  Staple  centre  because  it  holds  25,000  people  and  it’s  a  great  court  to  play  on!    

Did  your  coach  get  stricked  in  the  NBA?  Yes  he  made  us  run  15  in  60  when  a  player  mucked  up  but  it  taught  us  our  lesson!    What  other  sports  did  you  play  as  a  boy?  I  played  Baseball  and  I  played  a  little  bit  of  American  football!      How  did  you  learn  to  play  basketball  so  great?  I    Always  listen  to  my  coach  and  I  used  to  get  up  every  morning  at  5  to  go  to  the  local  courts  to  improve  my  game!        Who  inspired  you  to  play  basketball?  My  Dad  James  Jordan  who  played  for  the  Chicago  bulls,  los,  and  he  was  also  in  the  military!
