IN THE NEWS June was a crazy whirlwind of a month! We appreciate all of our Lighthouse families sticking by us as we move into July. We had a great time with our many fun dress-up and theme days and enjoyed seeing all the hard work parents put into their childrens cos- tumes each day! We also had a great Fathers Day celebration, pass- ing out donuts and coffee to all our wonderful Lighthouse fathers. Our Anchors class had a great time going on their first field trip to Ceramics Lodge and creating beautiful tile artwork. We are expecting their finished work to be back from the kiln in August. As times change, we have had to make some cancellations and postponements of future field trips: we have cancelled our visit to Sweet Eats Farm. As they could not ensure that we would be the only group in attend- ance, we feel it is best to save that visit for a future date. We will still be going to Texas Craft Company on July 9th and Monster Mini Golf on July 16th. We have rescheduled our Foam Party for a tentative date of August 19th and before that we will have our final field trip to the Dino Park on August 14th. Please keep up to date on field trip announcements and other possi- ble changes as we navigate more uncharted waters. We are excited about a great month ahead and will be kicking off July with a visit from Kona Ice on July 2nd before the long Independence Day weekend. Our teachers have so many fun and exciting summer activities coming up and cant wait for a great July with all of stu- dents and families! IN THE NEWS

June was a crazy whirlwind of a month! We appreciate all of our Lighthouse families sticking by us as we move into July.

We had a great time with our many fun dress-up and theme days and enjoyed seeing all the hard work parents put into their children’s cos-tumes each day! We also had a great Father’s Day celebration, pass-ing out donuts and coffee to all our wonderful Lighthouse fathers.

As they could not ensure that we would be the only group in attend-ance, we feel it is best to save that visit for a future date. We will still be going to Texas Craft Company on July 9th and Monster Mini Golf on July 16th. We have rescheduled our Foam Party for a tentative date of August 19th and before that we will have our final field trip to the Dino Park on August 14th.

Please keep up to date on field trip announcements and other possi-ble changes as we navigate more uncharted waters.

We are excited about a great month ahead and will be kicking off July with a visit from Kona Ice on July 2nd before the long Independence Day weekend. Our teachers have so many fun and exciting summer activities coming up and can’t wait for a great July with all of stu-dents and families!

Ms. Leslie: Ms. Leslie is our APK teacher in our Dolphins class-

room.

Ms. Leslie is a fun teacher who bonds with each of her students and makes it

a point to teach them to value and take their education seriously. She is a

bold leader who models each and every day how to be kind, inspiring and

one-of-a-kind. We are so lucky to have such a superhero as part of our

teaching staff!

Ms. Daija: Ms. Daija is our tw o -year-old teacher in our Sharks class-

room.

Ms. Daija is always willing to get silly or do anything it takes to make her

students laugh and smile. She is hardworking and full of patience and grace

for her class full of little learners, and always willing to go above and beyond

to ensure their safety, health and education. We are so fortunate to have

such a kind and caring teacher as part of our team!

We hope everyone has a
