NOTICE OF STAFF-RECOMMENDED RATESOn October 10, 2014, the Hamlin Public District (District) filed a Rule 19A application with the Public Service Commission

requesting an increase in the District’s sewer rates and charges. The District provides sewer service to customers in Lincoln County.The Commission Staff reviewed the District’s financial condition and recommended that the District be granted an 8.9%

increase in overall revenue. The Staff recommended rates would result in a monthly bill of $26.11, for the average residential customerusing 4,100 gallons.

A comparison of the District’s sewer rates is below which compares the rates as they existed prior to the filing of the appli-cation with those currently recommended by Commission Staff.
