It has been a real encouragement to have brother Jack Williams with us. Brother Jack has done an outstanding job presenting the Word of God and all those who have taken advantage of this opportunity to Worship God have been challenged and uplifted in His Service. We have also had a great attendance for this meeting. In fact, it is one of the best attendances we have had in several years. We have had over 100 every night. We probably had around 120-125 Sunday night, 102 on Monday night, 112 on Tuesday night and no doubt tonight we will have a good group as well. Thanks to all of you, who have helped to make this meeting a success. Furthermore, I am thankful we have all been encouraged to get our own lives in order and to be better workers in the Kingdom of God. What a blessing it is to be able to serve such a loving and caring Creator. I want to say how much fun it was to have our annual hayride this year at brother Clyde and sister Robbie’s. One of the highlights of each year is our opportunity to gather at this good family’s home and to enjoy one another’s company as the children of God. The kids really love the hayride and the cookout is a lot of fun as well. We want to say a BIG THANKS to Clyde and Robbie for opening up their home to us and for the privilege we have to enjoy such times as the family of God. Again, we are definitely a very blessed people of God. Haven’t you enjoyed the weather lately? It has just been so wonderful to have a nice, cool fall with even some rain. I can’t remember a year as pretty or comfortable as this one in recent years, so it makes this one extra special. I am also ever reminded of the great and mighty God we serve who created all things for us to enjoy and to have dominion over. God always blesses His family. Brethren, let me also remind us all to keep those with special prayer needs before God’s throne. Certainly our brother Tom Long as he is in Texas, undergoing radiation treatments. Let’s also remember brother Dave Guiheen. We also want to keep our sister Margaret Jones in our prayers as she is now under Hospice care. We also want to remember sister Retha Beebe who went back in the hospital on Tuesday. There are others having problems as well like sister Reva Lewellan, Marge Langston, and so many others. Please pick up an announcement sheet and keep all of these needs before the throne of God in prayer. Finally, let me encourage us all to keep up the good work of God, as His faithful children. There is no greater privilege than to be found faithful in the sight of God, thus recipients of His Wondrous Promises. I look forward to seeing you all in services this coming Sunday. Until then, God Bless! Ray Sullins
