• He is great in Zion and high above the peoples

• We must treat all things associated with God with proper respect – do NOT take it in vain!

The King’s Strength (4-5)• The King – God on His throne

in heaven • He loves justice Psa. 45:6-7, 72:1-2 Rom. 2:2, 2 Thess. 1:6

• Equity Ac. 10:34, 1 Pet. 1:17

The King’s Strength (4-5)• He has executed justice and

righteousness in Jacob – His treatment of Israel could not be questioned.

• Exalt the Lord our God – magnify Him Psa. 34:3, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” cf. Phil. 1:20

• Worship at His footstool – possibly a reference to the earth – Isa. 66:1

• He is holy!

• Moses and Aaron His priests

• Moses – a Levite, he sanctified the priesthood – Exodus 24:3-8He called upon God “face to face” – Ex. 33:11, Num .12:8

• Samuel was among those who called upon His name

• Samuel – a great prophet of God

• He sacrificed to God – 1 Sam. 7:9, 13:7-12

• They called upon the Lord and He answered them!

• On occasion the Lord spoke directly to them. Cf. 1 Sam. 8:7, 12:18

• He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar – Moses and Aaron

• They kept His testimonies and ordinances – they obeyed His word!

• He answered them

• When we call upon God He will answer us as well1 John 3:18-22, John 15:7, Jas. 5:16

Forgives• Moses, Aaron and Samuel all

sinned – and they were forgiven. • We too are forgiven - John 1:9, Heb. 4:16, cf. Heb. 12:3-11

His holy hill• The place where He is! In

Zion and in heaven!•Psa. 87, 15, 24:3-5• Again, we need to exalt Him

in our worship

Truly, God IS Holy!
