Lenten FaithWalk Offering Project! This year the FaithWalk students will be raising funds for ELCA Good Gifts to help people around the world. Every student built a barn shaped bank to fill with coins, and picked the thing they are trying to raise money for (goat, chick, rooster, vegetable garden, honeybees, fruit-tree seedlings, cow, backpack of food for students, pig, school supplies, and a fish farm)! Through the 6 weeks of Lent, students will be placing coins and monies in their barn-banks. Banks are due back to the Rainbow Room on Sunday, April 14 (Palm Sunday).

If you are interested in donating to this project, checks can be brought to the church office or placed in the offering plate with "FW Offering" or "ELCA Good Gifts" on the memo line. Questions, please see Deacon Jess.

Please consider helping out! Bringing a baby into

the world can be a difficult and scary thing for a

mother living in poverty. Keeping a new baby

healthy, clean and comfortable takes a lot of

resources. The items included in a Baby Care Kit

provide the basics a family needs to care for their

new members in the way they hope. WELCA will be

collecting items to make up Baby Care AND

Personal Care Kits. Lists of items needed can be

found in the office and a box for collection has been

placed in the hallway. It is not necessary to

purchase complete kits. Please keep in mind as you

do your shopping from now until May 1st. Thank

you!

Conference 5 Spring Gathering will be held Saturday, April 6, at Salem Lutheran Church in Hitterdal MN. Registration begins at 9 am. A brunch will be served after a brief business meeting and the featured speaker is Geri Leach from the Jail Chaplains. A sign up sheet is in the office.
