editingA slow fade in from black is used at the start of the scene.

This fades to the protagonists actions of rolling an unknown victim into a carpet. The nameless person in addition to the unidentified location creates a sense of unknown especially through the slow fading which ultimately builds anticipation from the audience as they become eager and intruigued as to the meaning of the protagonists actions.

Slow pace editing is used throughout the opening title sequence allowing the audience to take in the surroundings and action, building up tension and anticipation.CameraThe reflection of the unfocused lit city is projected onto the window of the room in which the main protagonist stands creating a sense of unknown for the audience.

There is a close up of the main protagonists face which is highlights his facial expression as he is shown to be struggling as he is carrying the carpet.

A establishing shot is used as the truck pulls up to park. Although this should create an introduction to the scene allowing the audience to infer information, due to the dark lighting it create an ambiguous aura.

An extreme close up is used at the end highlighting panic from the protagonist. His face has bruises and cuts suggesting violent characteristics of the protagonist.

Mis-En-scene.Dark lighting is used helping to emphasise the black tones in the sequence.

The use of the rusty and dirty truck indicated the protagonist to come across as edgy as well as sinister because of his lack of care towards the vehicle.

The second setting of the sea creates a sense of violence foreboding danger within the audience as the waves crash along the platform.

SoundHeavy breathing and panting non-diegetic sound, is used to introduce the scene this makes the audience feel uneasy as they are unaware of where the noise is coming from, as only the titles are visible on screen

A dramatic atmosphere is created by a high pitch of violins building tension through their legato notes.

Diegetic dialogue is used creating tension as the audience is unaware of the person that the voice belongs to.

Non-diegetic police sirens are played foreshadowing danger.TypographyA SERIF font is used for both cast and institutional information and cast members.This creates a modern feel towards the filmThe spacing also adds a modern feel towards the film

The typography is white this contrasts to the black toned setting allowing the information to stand out. AThe typography is always placed on the right side of the screen and fades in and out for 3 seconds. The quick editing pace allows the audience to focus on the action on screen.
