The Maid and the Prime Minister

…in a country called Canada, there lived a prime minister whose name was Peter Daniels. Everyone loved Peter, for he was kind, gentle, and loving. He became the prime minister when he was just 21 years old. But he soon grew lonely. So he got a girlfriend.

His girlfriend’s name was Ivy Witchburn. Peter didn’t know it, but Ivy was a witch. She was the good kind, but she still knew bad magic. She wanted to tell Peter her secret, but first she had to see if he was thrust worthy. So she made Peter go through a series of loyalty tests to see if he was worthy of keeping her secret.

One stormy night, an old woman knocked on Peter’s door. Peter asked what she wanted. The old lady didn’t answer.

Ivy ripped off her disguise and screamed and had a tantrum and started to swear and then she spoke Gibberish and disappeared into the night.

And the next day, Peter was missing.

After Peter Daniels disappeared, Peter’s “long-lost twin brother”, Adam Daniels, took Peter’s place as prime minister. He made the whole country miserable. It was unbelievable that he was Peter’s twin. Peter was handsome, while you would throw up when you saw Adam’s face. He was very powerful, and no one dared to try and beat him in an election.

At around the same time, in Victoria, B.C., Arianna Parker lived with her master Edward Brown.

Arianna was a servant, but her master was like a father to her. Mr. Brown was rich, but old. He loved Arianna as a daughter and wanted to adopt her, only she was already 21 and you can’t be adopted when you’re over 18.

One day, Mr. Brown got a letter saying that he had to give all his money to the government for military supplies. So Mr. Brown went to Ottawa to talk with the government about it.

Once he got there, Mr. Brown was attacked by Adam’s army. He was taken to prison.

Arianna soon got worried about her old master. So she went to Ottawa to get Mr. Brown.

Arianna went to the Parliament Building to see if Mr. Brown was there. In the hallway, she bumped into Adam. Adam whispered something under his breath and dragged Arianna away to prison.

In prison, Arianna met her father. Arianna begged Adam to free Mr. Brown.

Adam finally gave in when Arianna offered to take her master’s place.

Mr. Brown didn’t want to leave Arianna behind. Arianna said that it was okay. She would be fine.

And so, the next morning, Mr. Brown left while Arianna stayed and cried.

And so, over the next year, Arianna was forced to spend time with Adam. Eventually, they started to open up to each other.

One day, Adam told Arianna a secret. He told her that he was really Peter. Ivy had put a magic spell on him that made him really ugly. The spell would become permanent when the battery of a magic cell phone that Ivy gave to him ran out.

Arianna asked Adam how they could break the spell. Adam said he wasn’t allowed to tell or he’ll die.

A few days later, Arianna got a text message the said Mr. Brown was really sick and needed Arianna’s assistance.

Arianna asked Adam if she can go visit her father. Adam said no. Then Arianna unleashed her signature puppy dog eyes and Adam gave in.

Adam gave her a laptop saying to return to him in a week or really bad things will happen. Arianna said ok and took the laptop and called a taxi and left.

Two weeks later, Mr. Brown wasn’t sick anymore. Arianna had forgotten all about Adam. One day, she went to check her e-mail and in her inbox, there was a letter from Adam saying that he will do suicide soon.

So Arianna borrowed a car from Mr. Brown and drove off to Ottawa to save Adam.

When Arianna got there, Adam was lying still on the bed.

“Please, don’t die Adam,” Arianna cried. “I’ll do anything to keep you alive.”

Then at that moment Adam’s eyes opened and he was surrounded with a bright light. When the light was gone, it wasn’t Adam. It was Peter. Peter explained that to break the curse, someone had to offer to do anything for him. After that, Arianna and Peter went to Pizza Hut for

dinner.

And that is the story of how a maid became friends with the prime minister.
