Niles, ILChicago (RCM)The attached is a picture taken of the Retired Gravure Groupies, seven couples of Depts RCM, MRP & ROvintages, who gathered two or three times a year at a luncheon. The sites were chosen by each of the couples atvarious times, but the Christmas venue was invariably the Mill Race Inn in Geneva, Illinois. This picture wastaken at the 1997 gathering and the place was gloriously decked out for the Christmas holiday.Unfortunately, we have lost two of the group in the past year or so and healthproblems in all sorts of ways have taken hold among us. But we are still hardy in mind and soul. Its times likethese, looking at these pictures that keep us all young and fresh in spirit. The lineups of the guests are as such:

Got the book and I see Your kid is doing a yeomen job. From what I see he'll be around for a longtime to come. I don't remember the last time I enjoyed an outdoor magazine more and really a qualitymagazine. Of course a lot of our coworkers would say, “what would know about Quality".Anyhow you can be proud of your son which I am sure you were before he became President ofthe "California Waterfowl Association" Not a lot going on in the household, Third year ofbladder being cancer free and the prostate not being a problem as of now and if it does act up, out it comes, no bigdeal. hasn't had any problems since she was put on med's for her lung problem. We stay pretty busybetween grand kids and unfortunately aren't doing much traveling because our doctors have house payments tomake. Thanks for doing a great job on the newsletter.

In the News
"This video is worth sharing," said , director of the UA Sarver Heart
Center and one of the research pioneers who developed this method.Every three days, more Americans die from sudden cardiac arrest than the number whodied in the 9-11 attacks. You can lessen this recurring loss by learning Continuous ChestCompression CPR, a hands-only CPR method that doubles a person's chance of survivingcardiac arrest. It's easy and does not require mouth-to-mouth contact, making it morelikely bystanders will try to help, and it was developed here at the University of ArizonaCollege of Medicine. “This video is worth sharing,” said , director ofthe UA Sarver Heart Center and one of the research pioneers who developed this method.
Sarver Heart Center's newest video was developed to make it easy for people to learnContinuous Chest Compression CPR. Dr. Ewy is hoping the video, which is posted onYouTube, goes “viral” and gives more people the opportunity to be lifesavers. “Every daypeople are asked to forward e-mails to their entire contact lists. This is one e-mail link thatcan truly make a difference in people's lives,” said , professor ofmedicine at the UA College of Medicine, who chairs the Sarver Heart Center resuscitationgroup. So, go to the link and watch the six-minute video; then send it to everyone in youraddress book. You may not get gold from a faraway land, or become thinner, richer, luckieror more popular, but you are likely to make a huge difference; perhaps saving someone'slife.
If you see someone collapse who isn't responsive and has trouble breathing:
1. Tell someone to call 911 or make the call yourself.2. Position the person with the back on the floor. Place the heel of one hand on thecenter of the chest (between the nipples) and the heel of the other hand on top of thefirst. Lock your elbows, position your shoulders over your hands and use your upper-bodyweight to “fall” downward. Lift your hands slightly each time to allow the chest wall torecoil. Try to compress at 100 beats per minute and about 2 inches deep until emergencyhelp arrives.
Note: Mouth-to-mouth CPR still is recommended for drowning and very small children.

My Resume
1. My first job was working in an Orange Juice factory, but I got canned. Couldn't
concentrate.
2. Then I worked in the woods as a Lumberjack, but just couldn't hack it, so they
gave me the axe.
3. After that, I tried being a Tailor, but wasn't suited for it -- mainly because it
was a sew-sew job.
4. Next, I tried working in a Muffler Factory, but that was too exhausting.
5. Then, tried being a Chef--figured it would add a little spice to my life, but just
didn't have the thyme.
6. Next, I attempted being a Deli Worker, but any way I sliced it... couldn't cut
the mustard.
7. My best job was a Musician, but eventually found I wasn't noteworthy.
8. I studied a long time to become a Doctor, but didn't have any patience.
9. Next, was a job in a Shoe Factory. Tried hard but just didn't fit in.
10. I became a Professional Fisherman, but discovered I couldn't live on my net
income.
11. Managed to get a good job working for a Pool Maintenance Company, but the
work was just too draining.
12. So then I got a job in a Workout Center, but they said I wasn't fit
for the job.
13. After many years of trying to find steady work, I finally got a job as a Historian
- until I realized there was no future in it.
14. My last job was working in Starbucks, but had to quit because it was the same
old grind
15. SO, I TRIED AND FOUND I'M PERFECT FOR THE JOB!Retirement
