(continued from page 1) Christ is crucified. We pray for those who don’t know Him yet. We pray for people of all faiths. We pray and pray, and pray… through Christ our Lord. The wooden cross is there to touch and reverence while the choir sings. Noon worship at Trinity, 7:00PM at King of Glory.

Easter: The tomb is open! He is not there for He has Risen! ‘Christ is alive! Let Christians

sing. The cross stands empty to the sky.’ (ELW 389 Christ is Alive!) Alleluia! Sin and death have been conquered, thanks be to God! Our hearts are humbled and honored by God who loved us. Worship on Saturday at 5:30PM. On Easter Sunday, Big Thompson Brass and KOG choir will help us praise; wor-ship at 8:30 and 10:45AM. An Easter brunch will be served as a fund-raiser for our youth at 9:30AM with an Easter Egg hunt to follow at 10:00AM for children and youth. Congregation, I invite and encourage to you participate in all the services of Holy Week. During these worship times, we have opportunity to fully enter the story of our Lord and the events of His life. After our own Lenten sacrifices, we witness Christ’s sacrifice. Don’t miss the opportunity to worship throughout the week. Easter will mean that much more to your spirit and heart! I’m praying for you during these most Holy of Days.

Fondly, Pastor Ruth Ann

New Website!New Website!New Website!New Website! Kingofgloryloveland.com

We are excited to announce King of Glory has a new website! The technology team contracted with Madwire from Ft. Collins and we think they did a great job giving us a new look as well as a whole lot of functionality not possible with the old site. See for yourselves! Kingofglorylove-land.com (The old address is still active but it now points to the new site) A major improvement over the old site is that the new one has our own pictures of the building, sign, families and staff. On the home page we have buttons for “First Time Visitors” and “Contact Us” for questions. As well as direct access to the things people most often are looking for such as location, times of services, and information about Sunday School, our Pastor and an easy way to DONATE.

From Lutheran Campus MinistryFrom Lutheran Campus MinistryFrom Lutheran Campus MinistryFrom Lutheran Campus Ministry

Why does campus ministry matter? Ally brings her friends to campus ministry because it “has been a huge part of my college experience and I want every-body to feel connected to a community where you can just be yourself. This is so important to college students because we are all trying to find our place in this big wide world.” Your support for campus minis-try gives students the opportunity to be part of a Christian community, explore faith and serve others. For more info about Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry at University of Northern Colorado con-tact Pastor Deb Abbott - [email protected]. For Lutheran Campus Ministry at Colorado State Univer-sity contact Pastor Paul Judson at [email protected].

P.S. King of Glory provides a meal once a month for LCM-CSU. If you are interested in help-ing with this ministry, please contact Jan DesJardin. It is just a few hour commitment that makes a huge impact on a student’s life.

This Lent, King of Glory once again committed to ELCA World Hunger’s 40 Days of Giving campaign during our traditional time to emphasize the hunger ap-peal and prepare for the Second Offering on Easter. We said “Count Us In” and pledged again to raise $10,000 during Lent. Last year, we actually raised slightly over $15,000! The display table will remain in the concourse until Palm Sunday, when we will have a small table set up to receive offerings from people who may not be in worship on Easter (April 16). Hopefully, our display and videos and bulletin

inserts have helped you understand the comprehensive work accomplished through this ministry of our church. As you prepare for the Easter offering, remember that there are many ways to contribute to ELCA World Hun-ger:

• Coin boxes and envelopes (with checks or cash) are great! You can pick up both at the display table.

You can go to the King of Glory website (Kingofgloryloveland.com), click on the Donate Now button on the first page and set up your online giving account. World Hunger is one of the accounts to which you can con-tribute.

• You can also access our VANCO mobile giving site by using a QR Code Reader on your phone and click-ing on King of Glory’s QR Code.

• If you have an Apple phone, you can download the Give+ mobile app, search for King of Glory in Love-land, and set up a mobile page. This app should be available soon for Android phones. (Pick up a handout about this option at the display table.)

• Text giving is now available. King of Glory’s text donation number is 970-999-1463. Pick up a handout about this option at the display table. Once your account is set up, future text donations to general operations or world hunger are super simple to make!

If you want to make a credit card donation without having the congregation pay the fees, go to LENTEN TEAM KING OF GLORY at http://support.elca.org/goto/KingofGlory. All contributions through this site will count toward our congregation’s goal, but should be made by April 20.

THANK YOU for your faithful commitment to this ministry we are able to do TOGETHER with the whole ELCA and our partners around the world.
