John 1:11-12
11He came to His own, and His own
people did not accept Him.
12But as many as received Him, to them
He gave the right to become children
of God, to those who believe in His
name,
Psalm 118

Acts 4:11-12
11He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by
you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE
CHIEF CORNERSTONE.
12And there is salvation in no one else; for
there is no other name under heaven that
has been given among mankind by which we
must be saved.”
Psalm 118
The cornerstone
I Peter 2:4-8
4And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected
by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,5
you
also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for
a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices that are
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.6
For this is contained
in Scripture:
“BEHOLD, I AM LAYING IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE,
AND THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME.”
7This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for
unbelievers, “A STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME
THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE,”
8and, “A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE”; for they
stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this
they were also appointed.
Psalm 118
The cornerstone
Zechariah 10:4
From them will come
The cornerstone,
From them the tent peg,
From them the bow of battle,
From them every tyrant, all of
them together.
Psalm 118
The cornerstone
Isaiah 28:16
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says:
“Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a
tested stone, A precious Cornerstone
for the foundation, firmly placed. The one
who believes in it will not be disturbed.

Jesus Enters Jerusalem
Psalm 118

Psalm 118
Hosea 11:4
I pulled them along with cords of
a man, with ropes of love, And I
became to them as one who lifts
the yoke from their jaws; And I
bent down and fed them.
Psalm 118
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to Me, all who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you
rest.29

and humble in heart, and YOU WILL
FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.30
