The Hol- sum Fish fry put! on for dealers and friends is going over in a big way. Some 1500 attended the two parties and a real fine time was enjoyed. Willis Burman Dies Willis Burman, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Burman of 930 NW 4th ave., died on Wednes- day morning at 4:15 in the Jack- son Memorial hospital following a long period of illness. His death was attributed to heart trouble. Burman is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Avis Neely, several other relatives and many friends. Funeral services, under the di- rection of the Francis Funeral home, will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Eben- ezer M. Church. MAN KILLED IN 7TH ST. HOTEL Cleveland Charlton, one of the roomers in the Seventh Street hotel at 322 N.W. 7th st., was killed in his room on Sunday afternoon. Paul Richardson, man- ager of the hotel and Henry Lar- kin, another roomer, were held for investigation. Detective Palmer reported that the killing was the result of an argument over a burnt mattress in Charlton’s room. Richardson wanted Charlton to pay a week’s rent in advance and move out at once. When Richardson began throwing Charlton’s clothes into a suitcase the two went into a scuffle. One report said Charl- ton was attempting to take the gun away from the manager when it was passed to Larkin who did the shooting. Larkin had the gun when Sgt. T. W. Haller arrested him. On Monday a charge of first degree murder was filed against Larkin. (Jack) Jones and daughter and Mr. George Kershaw. They urge others to see the show. It’s real nice and very good seating . . . Willis Burman DiesWillis Burman, 27, son of Mr.
