The trailing bogies with inside bearings and the conceptof the long articulated train make a major contribution tosaving weight and thus energy.
The car body is a lightweight welded integralaluminum monocoque construction primarily usinglarge extruded profiles.
All components are installed on thevehicle roof or beneath the floor.

With the help of the new aerodynamic designand the quiet bogie, noise is reduced to alevel that meets all current standards.
